ORIGINAL: Jrsess

I've been using S100 for about 20 plus years it's outstanding.I really only use it from maybe the engine down. As stated before make sure bike is cool, in the shade if possible.Try it you'll like it! Ride Safe Jrsess
Also been using S100 for a long time, in fact, we purchase it by the case.

We don't wash and detail our bikes as often as many people, and they are also ridden in all weather conditions..Needless to say, when it's time to clean one of the bikes it is usually pretty 'grungy', and S100 and an Air Force Blaster make short work of really messy bikes.

If you are looking for a great white wall cleaner.........
try "CycleCare Formula 1" white wall cleaner.
I had used the s100 cleaner before....and I now use a product
called "Renew Custom Cycle wash" www.cleancycle.com

The white wall cleaner is NON-CORROSIVE and the Renew
has salt neutralizer. I live nearthe coast in Florida......so corrosion
is a concern. Allot of cleaners say they are corrosive and must be washed off after
25 seconds/35 seconds whatever.......who needs that pressure?
I was directed to the above products by a guy on a bike...and all he
said was "Have you ever tried.....?"
When your s100 cleaner is used up.....try some Renew. (And NO, I don't sell the
stuff and don't care whether you actually try the stuff.....)
I tried it and like it. (Your results may vary)

S100 was the subject of another recent thread.I used to use it regularly but switched to the Suzuki brand of cleaner. Works as well as S100 but costs significantly less.Cut it 50/50 with hydrogen hydroxide, aka water. I buy it by the gallon and use a well-rinsed Tilex Fresh Shower spray bottle. The bottle puts out a finer mist than the standard S100 or Suzuki bottle, and gives good coverage without wasting as much.

I read somewhere about a problem with keeping the Nightster grey engine covers clean. The S100 or So-pukey stuff has worked well on THE MAMA's, and it is ridden nearly 100 miles to/from work daily.
