Anyone know about DennisKirk.com??

I'm looking for a carb for a 75 sportster and living in Vero Beach, FL doesn't give me a lot of dealer options. I've opted to order one online but am pretty sceptical. Anyone heard of DennisKirk.com?? I found one on that website. If so, any good/bad expierience to tell me about? Thanks - K

Dennis Kirk has been around for quite a while. They started with catalog sales long before they had a website. I actually heard of them before J&P. You have no worries dealing with them. Very reputable.

I have ordered online from them and received email confirmation of the order along with a tracking number when the item was shipped. No complaints.

I've not ordered from them as I have always been able to find the item wanted locally for a better price. Great catalog, but the pricing seems to be standard retail or 'street' price at best. For a carb for a 75 Sporty, there should be several options. Check the Tech page here and at V-Twin forums. Lots of good info there.

Dennis Kirk sponsors the Patriot Ride each summer in Mn. This year he split the proceeds with the Mn Patriot Guard. Class outfit, huge warehouse. Here's a pic:
