Well, theres a first time for everything and I had a first today!
I have been riding for 11 years and somthing entirely new happened!
I was riding down the steet when I looked at my very low fuel gauge, knowing I had a steep hill to climb in a few seconds, I reached down to my petcock to turn her down for reserve.
As soon as my index finger hit the petcock my pinky grazed the ingnition cables or coil:
YYOOOOOOOOO, Im getting zapped so hard I almost pi**ed my self!!!!!!!!
Just wondering if anybody else had this anomoly occur!
No, but once upon a time, the bike and I went to a club. When I came out, I found my bike had gone an picked up two really hot waitresses! Boy was I shocked!

Seriously, though, I'd check the insulation on the wires for cracks. You shouldn't get zapped like that unless the covering has been compromised or they are wet. I've also heard of some cleaners/polishes acting as a conductor as well.
I haven't been shocked, but, I sure thought I was on several occasions - all revolving around using my horn. You ever get that? You honk and the vibration of the horn sends your left leg out in to traffic thinking you're getting 12volts of electricity up your lower half?
