Default Wife passed the basic rider course!

My wife just passed the Riders Edge course and now has the motorcycle endorsement on her license. She's a real trooper, on the final day of the course the temp was in the 20s/30s and the day started out with a light sleeting rain. And she hates to be cold!

Now, on her first day as licensed driver, we have 2" of snow on the ground and counting. She loves snow but really wanted to get out on the road.

She's going to ride the Sportster and I have the green light to start shopping for a new bike!

Congrats to Mrs! My wife did it a couple of years ago. You will never find a better riding companion! Wife and I have done 6 states and absolutely loves riding. She also hated the cold, but an electric jacket liner and good gloves solved that.

Enjoy!

well gosh darn, she sure does deserve a huge Congratulations! It is NO easy task to be take that course, be stressing becauase you want to pass the course, and have to encounter cold snowy sleety conditions. Geez, sounds just like the weekend when I passed my course- that Sunday it was high 29 degrees and it had snowed the night before and was snowing sleeting off and on all day..I figure, never having ridden and then passing the test under those conditions, - heck, I am ready to go anywheres! And yup, my next move was to get that Sporty!

Congrats to the wife!! And welcome to another rider in the fold! You guys'll have a blast, and never lack for a buddy to go ride with. My parents recently got back into riding, and I helped my Mom get into the MSF. She had some doubts in the beginning, but now they ride all the time.

Just remind her, repeatedly, lotta cc's between 250 and 1200...

And tell us what bike you're going to get!

Congratulations to your wife, and to you. Now your riding partner and best friend are one and the same.

My wife has been riding her own for about 8 years.

Regards,

Bill
