What then would we do with all of the out of work cops, judges and attorneys?. They have no real skills that would qualify them for any other work.

Very funny. To bad most are too sensitive to get the joke.
But then what would you expect..................
Give me a break, sensitivity has nothing to do with it and what does your comment "But then what would you expect..." supposed to mean. His remark wasn't even that funny. This was just another slam against cops even though he included lawyers and judges.
"But then what would you expect" means there are too many big bad bikers on here that seem to get there feelers hurt alot.
And as far as it being a supposed slam on cops, eh, it is what it is. Some people are bothered by that, others are not. Some will have there feelers hurt, others will think its funny.
I wont get into the cop thing any more than that here, because I know who runs the board. So that particular bit of the discussion is OVER.
As far as there being too many laws, well, I dont think any person who has the ability to think logically would not agree we have too many laws in this country, the land of the so called "FREE" and the home of the also so called "BRAVE".
I also put forward that no person capable of thinking logically would disagree that the cops, lawyers, judges, lawmakers, and government bureaucrats have become much too intrusive into the lives of those engaged in the act of the PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS.

I'll never understand why someone will take a jab, make a joke, whatever, KNOWING it's a hot button issue and that it's bound to **** people off. Take it a step further in a face to face setting and you'll have a great example of why it's necessary that we have laws.

Are you telling me you NEVER do this? I simply can't believe that. And your secondstatement is a great point BTW. We need laws because there are a lot of azzholes out there.

No, I really don't. Live and let live. I do respond accordingly when it's called for, but I don't take the initial jab.

I agree...in some respect. There are a lot of incompentent jags out there doing these jobs. Yeah, just like in any job, but in the abovelisted jobs they affect our lives and our freedoms more so than lets say a painter, grocery clerk, banker, etc.

I'm not here to **** off anyone in the above listed jobs. My best bud is a cop. He fills me in on all of the insecure jerksthat work on the force as well as all of them that abuse their powers. It's sickening.

If you're not one of these guys, don't take offense.

Well said Stro-! Guess I was dumb enough to jump in on the band wagon. Seriously, the laws and those that enforce them give Ken the right to say the stuff he does. Whether joking or not, it's his right just as we all have a right to respond. But Stro said it best--"Take it a step further in a face to face setting and you'll have a great example of why it's necessary that we have laws." and I'll add "and those necessary to enforce them.
