Close one today....
Left today for a couple hour ride, a mile and half or so from home headin south on Rt2. which is two lanes each direction we approached an intersection with a left turn off lane. We're doing about fifty in the left lane , when a SUV in the turn off lane decides to move right back onto the highway. It had been rolling to a stop, probably at about ten MPH when it moved back over and into our lane.
We were right on top of it, I started to brake, but had to change lanes as there was no way we were going get make it, I did a quick glance in the mirroras I was moving to the right lane. Only thing I knew was that the wasn’t anybody behind in the next lane, there could have been someone next to me a few feet back. As it turned out the lane was free. I move just enough to miss the fool moving over into our lane all the way to the dividing line.
Figure if someone was there I would be splitting the lane with them. I've never before experienced some pulling a stunt like this. After I was passed, left hand up high with the one finger salute....[:@][:@]

Like Chris said, glad your ok bro.....& we did miss ya yesterday.
When something like that happens to us, I have to really try & control my temper if I can get to the azzwipe in question. I don't need to go to jail, have my scoot towed by some crook
or get fcking sued. We had a SUV split myself, Hooligan & Storm on I-66 in the dark last night.....wanted to put his teeth in a different order for sure.[:@][:@]

Glad you're okay! Why is it that the "close calls" always seem to happen only a short distance from home?
The last few times I've taken the bike out someone's either cut me off, stopped short, nearly side-swiped me, or rode my a**--all before I've even gotten a few miles from my house. If I were a superstitious man, I'd think it was a bad omen. And, I'd be lying if it didn't make me want to turn around and park it sometimes!
