I've been seeing big signs with this printed on it in the Suburbs of Chicago. It's clearly a new campaign to get people to start paying attention to motorcycles on the roads.
Problem is, when I first saw it I assumed that there was a run or rally nearby. It took me a minute to figure out that it was a new safety campaign.
Am I the only one that thinks this slogan is kind of bad? Shouldn't it read "Start Paying Attention to Motorcycles" or "Watch Out For Motorcycles"?
Maybe they'll vary the sayings in the future to keep peoples attention?
I think anything that makes people think about us is alright. Hope they start doing that in other places!
I'm all for it. Anything to promote awareness. Too many cagers are oblivious to anything under 2 tons. In downtown Chicago, you get used to bicyclists and joggersdarting out from every direction, ignoring most traffic rules. Yet, the same folks are mystified about 'what to do about motorcyclists'. I simply tell them-pay attention!

I think we should just put up a sign with you on it and say....LOOK WHATS ON HARLEYS NOW. That would get attention bigtime. LOL
I think all cage mirrors (side and rear view) should have a sticker with a dude on a motorcycle permanently fixed to each mirror. Everytime the cagger looks in the mirror they see a bike...
