I've read quite a bit lately about carrying an air compressor when traveling to fix tubeless tire flats. I've been looking at some of the available compressors, & they all have the cigarette lighter plug in on them. My bike don't have a lighter,(99 Fatboy). Can you snip off the plug in & put alligator clips on them so they can be clipped onto the battery? Thanks.
Frank
Yes, or get the batterytender adaptors.
I have the Slime compressor that I bought at Auto Zone. I tested it on an uniflated tire. Took 7 minutes.
Also tried the Walmart $10 job. Worked about the same and had a guage on it.
Not sure why now but decided on the Slime. Think it may have a higher psi rating.
