I wear glasses and needed something for riding in the rain. Bought some goggles with the foam liner but when I rode through a rainstorm, the foam got saturated and leaked like a sieve, thus filling the goggles with water. Is there a type of goggle that won't leak?
I wear prescription goggles from SportRx ( the G103 model) and have worn them in rain many times with no leakage. I also have a pair of over-the-glasses goggles made by Global Vision (the All Star Kit model) that I use as a backup. Although overall they work well, I can't comment on them as far as leakage goes because I haven't worn them in rain. Maybe someone else has some rain experience with that particular goggle and can comment.
Swimming goggles should work, but then you should trade the do rag in for a swimming cap
But seriously, look into the Wiley X SP-1 Goggle with perscription lenses
Exactly. Either a full face or a 3/4 with a shield. I've been caught in rain with a 1/2 helmet and my sunglasses/goggles and it sux trying to keep them clear.

You need a helmet with a face shield for riding in the rain.
Used to wear a helmet, but after a neck injury I can't wear it now (one surgery, another one soon, maybe then I can go back to the helmet). I have prescription glasses and prescription sunglasses, and I aint paying for another prescription in goggles.
Like in my original question---I'm seeking watertight googles to go over my glasses. Thanks.

I have a pair of these EMGO goggles. They are ugly as sin, but will do a pretty good job.
Thanks Doug, I'm 60 and way past giving a fat rat's azz wheather I look cool on my bike.Especially when it's raining. I don't consider myself a biker anyway, just some guy who loves to ride his motorcycle.
