Anybody using one of these for the small stuff on their bike? I need to go throught my service manual to see how much falls into this range, but I'd think a fair amount would.
Sound like an excellent tool to have, but off hand can't think of any place to use it on the Harley. That's like 4 lbs torque. It's like anything else, once you have one you will find uses for it. Ron
I don't and have never had a 1/4 inch torque wrench......really don't the need when working on the bike. LIke someone said earlier....it's all in the wrists.
Any tool is a great thing to have.... but almost everything on your ride that requires inch pound settings are rocker-box covers, primary case cover, and tappet base bolts......you really should'nt need a torque wrench for inch pounds.... it IS all in the wrist.
You don't need a torque wrench as long as you don't overtighten it! LOL
I agree though.....most 'small' stuff may not require an accurate torque.
HEADS, AXLES......stuff that can kill you if it falls off.....OK. Torque away!
Mostly though it is "Tighten til snug...then 1 and a 1/2 oomphs." (Safety wire if neccesary)

You would be surprized how many places you could use that tool.I have one just for doing spoked wheels. When you wrench all the time you develope a feel for torque and end up not using the trq wrench.Always do on major things block, heads, etc.
