I couldn't agree more, but to take that a step further I personally try to live that every day whether I ride a bike or not It's just the way I was raised and the way I am, some folks don't understand this line of thinking and are afraid but that's how we are. at least we know where we stand with each other and not guessing. play it straight up and honest. proud to be included in what seems rare and dying ideals. ok I'm done

It should be a peoples code, not just a biker code.

Great post, righteous it is. By the way, you don't have to be on your motorsickle to pull over and help another biker.

I am a grey beard, over 45 years in the saddle. The code as you call it was a way of life for us in the early 60's and we not only lived by it, but some died for it. I miss the old days with some long lost friends and the biker today for me is sometimes hard to relate too. All of you will become grey beards someday (for you ladies maybe greyhairs) and you will look back in time as I do. When you do, will you be able to say you lived the life while teaching others. My life changed because of just one friend who was the most righteous biker I have ever known. Live by the code but, teach it to someone before it is lost forever.

Great words of wisdom. Riding is about enthusiasm and adventure. It's not for everybody or everybody would be doing it. Motorcyclists are some of the most caring people in the world. Honor, Respect, and Devotion to duty.

Reading through a lot of the posts on HDF and I see many posters that have no clue. I see many more out on the road. Those words are just plain good words to live by.

As someone's sig line states, "So many bikes, so few bikers."
