Default Windshield Question

Does anyone know who makes a short windshield for a heritage classic? I have a stock one which is 20"I think and want one 2 or 3" shorter.I did a serch on it but there were too many threads to read through so I thought I would ask some of the wise men and women on here.
Thanks in advance

Try Memphis Shades forthe "Fats" model. Their mounting brackets have the same shield bolt pattern as the HD brackets. You can by the plastic shield only and reuse your existing HD brackets. http://www.memphisshades.com/fats_harley.shtml

Why waste your money buying another windshield? These windshields are very easy to cut down. Just measure the height you want, mask it off with a good masking tape or duct tape and cut it with a sabre/jig saw or roto-zip tool, sand the edge smooth and you're done. You can do that job in about an hour and save yourself a couple of hundred dollars.

If you're reluctant to do it your self, most glass shops will do it for you.

I measured and marked my windshield then took it to a glass shop. They did an unbelievably good job on it. Cost me $25.

Thanks for the advice. I think I will go the route of trying the glass shop. I have one right down the road from me I will bring it there and see what they say.

I put a big scratch by accident on my Harley Low Profile windshield. I ordered a replacement piece of plastic from Rifle. They have exact replacement sizes or plus or minus 2 inches. You can also special order any size.

I took a piece of poster board layed it against the windshield marked the edge and used scissors to cut it. I sat on the bike and had someone lower the poster board to the hight I wanted, measured it and cut it off. pretty simple.

CeeBaileys. Aircraft quality and reasonably priced. Far and above HD OEM.
