I just received my new enthusiast mag. It was quite enlightening! In the letter section they covered the waving issue. evidently waving could be injurious to you riding experience. It is becoming a national issue, that must be approached! they also covered the syn issue, and the load pipe issue! Standby, Next issue they will be covering fingerless gloves, fringe, chaps, dew rags, blue motorcycles, girl bikes, and real bikers! Stay tunesd!
Next time were riding,be sure and give'm the finger, wouldn't want to annoy him with another wave. How about that great back peddling concerning Syn 3 oil.Somewhere in that B.S.translation I lost his whole point.Guess I'l go stand in blue pail of Syn,wave at myself with my fingerless gloves, and look at ****.

yep, noticed the backpeddling too.
and of course, NO APOLOGY for giving false information.
I've heard of tickets being issued for not having both hands on the bars while riding, it's the law in some locales. Since I dont' recall in what areas this is the law and on the advice of my lawyer, I'm not going to take a chance on being ticketed so my waving days are over.
The persons letter the magazine chose to print definately has a problem acknowledging other riders on the road.Thats his choice. The magazine probably didn't have to many letters to choose from, thats why they printed his [:'(]
IT'S TIME FOR CONGRESS TO TAKE ACTION!!! We can't have Americans waving at each other while driving.
LOL! Not so far fetched! When I was a SSgt at AFMPC down at Randolph AFB in the 80s, I saluted a Capt from my office riding his bicycle up to the building.... He attempted a salute back and almost fell off his bike... I bout killed myself laughing... 2 hours later he had drafted up an AF policy message stating individuals on bicycle were not required to return or give salutes.... LOL!... The Colonel told him to use his head next time and can the message... Poor Capt. Cook... If he'd been a biker he'd have just given the 'wave'... hmmmm... wonder if he's a politician now?... heh heh
LOL! That one brought back some memories... While at Atsugi with VMF-323 in '63, we'd typically pass the pilots riding their bicycles to the flight line in the morning. I did the same thing -- saluted (confession...we'd wait until the last possible second), and watched a young lieutenant nearly fall off his bike trying to return it. Shortly after that, the Skipper put out the word to stop saluting the bicyclists, lest they fall-off and damage an expensive asset!
Happy Birthday, Marines!
