Anybody got any suggestions for an inexpensive mount to use on an EGC? Looking to mount either a mini DV camcorder, or a still shot digital cam...........possibly one with a clamp for the bars, or one that fits the empty mirror hole? (fairing mounted mirrors.) Thanks!
Only issue you will face is the vibration, especially when shooting video. The electronic stabilization on the camcorder helps, but is still there. If i had to do it over again, I might look at one of the sport camcorders that have a separatesmall camera that hooks via a wire to the recorder, allowing you to mount the small camera in a less vibration prone area of the bike.

Inexpensive? Duct Tape........
........sorry, I couldn't help it
Yup..there is one poster on HDForums that has tried 1/2 a dozen different mounts.....he says best one so far was a piece of foam rubber and duct tape to mount the digital video camera on top of the front fender.
