What's a good interest rate on bikes these days?
Put a deposit on a new bike today.May pick it up tomorrw and don't really have time to research the current interest rate on bike financing.With a excellent credit rating,what do you think I can get? Thanks

Check with a credit union for sure, Eaglemark is not the lowest. I did finance my bike through HD/Eaglemark, but I jumped on in July when they had the 4.99% promo.

I have a FICO score of 812 and got 6% at the loal credit union. All of the local banks, and I even tried Lending Tree, were running about 8-8.25% on the low end. Some of the banks were as high as 12%. Would hate to see what they would offer to someone with poor credit. I followed the advise that I received here and tried the credit unions. Thanks again HDF.

HD wanted 8.9% a few weeks ago. My credit union is still under 5%. With simple interest, I like to pay it off early, and save the extra interest.

What is so unbelievable? Why would I lie? I don't have to show you. Find out for yourself. Centra Credit Union Rate Line 1-812-372-RATE (7238). Currently gives 6.19%. I was able to negotiate a little and get a flat 6%.We are just trying to help the guy out. Relax.
