I just got back from a ride up to my local dealer. The temp here in Jersey was 35*F. The only thing that got cold on the highway was my eyes. Even with the goggles on, my eyes were freezing. I pulled in behind a 18 wheeler, and drafted him for the last 5 or 6 miles. I was quite warm behind the truck with hardly any wind hitting me.

Gas prices don't dictate for me as I have a 20yr. old cage that still get 40mpg. so when it is a little chilly in the morning I'll just make some coffee and drive.Here in central Ohio the temp. can vary 30 degrees from morning to afternoon however 45 min. at freezing just for the ride home just ain't worth it.

I dont know...whenever my bandana, thshirt with leather vest and holed up jeans dont keep me warm....haha

In all seriousness...I ride to work even in the 30s...havent tried any colder yet...but I think I ahve the clothing..jsut not for any seriously long trips...
