dry with no ice means more to me than a number. So meet the first 2 and hear the thunder.
Ditto for me, the heated gloves and the lowers on my Ultra go a long way to forgetting about how cold it is. Having said that, coldest so far has been 27 degrees, 20 minute ride down the highway to work. One of the best things about riding when it's that cold is the looks from people in cars. Also the rear cylinder will finally run under 2,500 degrees

Stopped at my local Skidoo dealer and purchaced some winter gloves. They've got a little more insulation on the back of the hand.I can still feel things through the palm and fingers. We are expecting snow here tomorow.

The day I traded my Shadow in on the new Fatty it was about 35 degrees and a 100 mile roundtrip. That was about the limit for me...

I rode early this morning low 30s, rode to my son's house and back about 50 miles, bundled up good, actually wasn't bad, I enjoyed the ride. Now honestly I didn't take it fast, avoided shining spots or what I thought were ice spots. I will ride when I can, even if it's just a few miles, as it is my time for me. Wife even commented that I looked relaxed and calmer. I am thinking about getting some heated gloves. I am getting older, so I do know that the cold bothers me more than some of you young guys.

I was out riding yesterday (just locally), temps between 30 and 32F, really not too bad if dressed properly. I didn't put my chaps on, but would need them if riding for an extended period. Also, I noticed that my insulated leather gloves weren't really cutting it, so I'm going to invest in a set of heated gloves, along with a jacket liner. I rode in low tomid-20* temps last winter, works alright as long as there is no snow or ice on the roads. The air is pretty dry up here in the Arizona mountains, so the temps don't seem as cold as they do in more humid climates. Oh yeah, I was wearing my 3/4 helmet with a balaclava, not too bad, except around the eyes. Time to get new contacts and go with the full-face and balaclava (worked quite well last year).

That being said, I ride more because I enjoy it than due to gas prices (although that has become a larger factor, recently). If the snow and ice hit, though, the 4WD pickup becomes the ride of choice on the ground. Fortunately, snow usually only lasts a few days at a time up here, and the roads are cleared pretty fast. Now, if I can only figure out a way (other than spending a huge amount of money on paving) of getting the scoot out when the long dirt/gravel driveway turns to muck after snow melts, I'll be much happier this winter.

I have heat jacket and pants. My bike came with heated grips. Whathas the temp have to do with riding. It raining today so I rode to work like any other day. If there is ice or cold rain with freezeing temp. That is the time to watch weatherman report.

The dealer gave a bike to ride. As my bike was in the shop. That MVP Gold is good for something. In four days I put 1500 mile on the dealers bike this week.I was so happy to have my bike back with the heated hand grips.

It was a cool 45 on my way to work today (this IS Phoenix, so that's pretty cool for us). Other than my hands and legs, I didn't think it was bad at all. Better gloves and some overpants and I'm ready for more.

Oh - and it's supposed to hit 71 today.......... hehehe not a spot of ice on the road anywhere..... LOL
