i dont like to keep things secret when i find something good.
i had some oil from somewhere getting on the front of my gas tank, heads and primary cover. i decided today to try some stuff that i use on my mountain bike and road bike made by finish line that you can just spray and wipe off or rinse and wipe. i didnt want to drag out the hose and it was raining so i just sprayed the scoot with it on the oil and sprayed some water from a spray bottle and dried off. dang it shined just like i had waxed it....
got me rethinking of saturday wash and wax days....i can just spray the dirty parts and keep the electric stuff dry....
its finish line spray bike wash...from a bicycle shop....

When I had some work done at an Indy shop. the guy used some type of glass cleaner to remove the smudges. My work uses the same stuff to clean just about anything. It worked awesome. He said he uses it on painted and chrome pieces, and hasnever had an issue with it. He said, I think, just make sure that it does not have amonia in it.
