He (She?) is here - Mr. (Ms.?) Fat Bob, in all his (her?) denim black, err ... glory, yes, that's the word!! It's my first Harley, and I'm floored, speechless, flabbergasted, giddy like a five year-old on Christmas and just plain in awe - all at the same time.
Took the chubby bastard out for an hour's worth of bopping around the neighborhood to get used to the considerable weight (see "1st Harley" above), and then for a 2 hour spin on the local back roads - all nice and slow as dictated by the man, of course. That thing is un-feakin'-believable, I'm in love!!!
Pardon my giddiness ... couldn't hold it in any longer
(and ... ****, is it cold out there!! where the $%&@ is global warming when you need it ????)
Thanks guys! Rrrrr, it's 11:30pm and I can't wait for the damn night to be over so I can get back out and ride tomorrow morning ... think I'm going back out to the garage to sneak another peek ... just to make sure he's alright. Isn't there a rule or something that states you can't leave your bike all by itself over night? If not, there should be!!
I already have ... got the bike this evening at 7:00pm and rode until my butt was frozen solid a little after 10:00pm, knees wouldn't bend anymore and concentration started to lapse a little - I usually take that as a sign that it's time to get off the scoot and take a break
