If you want good kids, at least one parent needs to stay at home. Preferably the woman since she is best at that sort of thing.
Yes women suffered at one point in this country, but after WWII they had it pretty dang good inside the house.

I must say Kolni that you are absolutely right on the money, but I also must add that the father needs to do his part when he comes home at night and spend time with his children and give his wife a break. Besides the best time of my life was helping to raise my boys and enjoy teaching them things and playing with them.
