Fit or Fat???
Just wondering if there's any relationship between Harley riders and fitness. With the demographics moving toward the "older" end of the spectrum for Harley riders, it only figures that more riders are getting round about the middle. And is there any advantage to being fat on a motorcycle? For example, a big round cushiony Fat Albert a$$ has got to have some advantages on long rides over a boney litttle Kate Moss a$$, shouldn't it. And doesn't a fit upper body have some advantages when riding?

Great question! Not much padding, but I can ride forever. Coming up on 60, and keep it sucked in, and want to ride as long as possible. I walk, do sit-ups, and lift a few weights.

Before I got back into riding, I was seriously into bodybuilding with bodyfat around 5%. In the 3 years I have had my HD, going to the gym is a thing of the past and I have gained a ton of weight. My jobis partially to blame, as I am working much more, but I have determined to get back to the gym after Christmas.

Being fit helped me survie a impact with an F150 @ 35 MPH and beat the crap out of the idot who was not suppose to be driving[:@]
