Default new tattoo - phase one

I got this done on my right arm a week ago! I've got three more sessions scheduled for the coloring. The bar and shield is supposed to look embossed and will be colored blue/chrome, and the eagle's wings will be flames. I'll post a pic when it's done.

Looks real nice!

Hey, you aren't doing chrome ink right? Just highlights to look like chrome?

I researched mettalic inks recently, and found some shops are doing it, but that they are pretty unsafe for you. They aren't designed to go under the skin, just for skin painting.

Anyhow, looks like fun. I can't wait to get more work done.

Right, just hilights to look like chrome. He uses white ink and this kinda electric light blue color to get the chrome effect.

Wally,

That's going to be one cool looking piece. Can't wait to see the finished work. My next one is going on Feb 8th. The guy I use is so booked it takes three months to get an appointment.

Wally,

Who's doing your tattoo? I've been looking around and there are a couple of good guys in Mattoon and I know there use to be a guy there in Effingham. Can't wait to see it when it's finished.

Thanks! I had to book this two months in advance. Be sure and post a pic of your new one when you get it done.

Hey Terry! It's Living Color Tattoo in Mattoon. He's better known as "Toad".

Here's a link to his website. My left arm that he did a couple years is posted somewhere in his gallery.

Hey Wally,

I use Toad too. His real name is Dave Baldwin. He's done a couple of mine and I'm thinking about doing a couple more. Tell him I said hi when you go in to have your's done.
