gas prices?
You gotta be kidding!
You'd have to try gas in Italy before ranting about price...

here is 1.3 € / liter for standard 94 octane gas and 1.5-1.6 € / liter for premium 99-100 octane gas... And I'm talking best prices you can get (even if I doubt you can get 1.3 now...)
That's 7.1$/gallon at best. It usually rises when the towelheads get restless[:@]
Sweden, Denmark, Finland has socialist governments that actually work. They tax the **** out of you, but if you live in a small house, and have a child, the state will make sure you get a bigger one, suited for a couple with a child (just to make an example).
The social system works.
In Italy they tax the **** out of you, and then they tax you some more. In exchange you get the crappiest public transportation in the whole western world, gasoline and insurance companies trusts (with an anti-trust which is laughable, if you don't have to actually live here), crappy public health care (sure, SOME things function, but at a price that is a hundred times what they are actually worth), a MILLION AND A HALF public employees, and much more...

I've voted EVERY F..ING PARTY possible, apart from the leftist ones, whose cure for the problem is MORE statalism (that is: cure an asphixiating patient bay strangling him) and NOTHING changes.
Why? Because they have understood that they just have to stay on the same side (against the citizen) and feign rivalry. Then, the citizen, divided between two sides which are actually ONE, will vote and struggle while they just take turns at the top, meanwhile partaking in the whole cake...

Democracy is going down the drain here...
Just listen to me: when you're finished with the fundamentalists (who live in a f..ing desert!) bring your soldiers here! Invade Italy, throw down the government, and make us the 51st state: marvellous landscapes, 60% of the whole cultural treasures in the world, gorgeous girls and great cuisine. THIS is something worth fighting for!
[8D]i pretty much get gas only at the 3-4 gas stations along my daily commute, and i only put around $2.00 to $3.00 in every 3-4 days.
Less than a gallon in 3 or 4 days? you must have a short commute,
