Default Good source for "used" parts?

Need to pick-up some "crash" parts to rebuild a freind's 2002 Sportster. I have priced Zannottis for new parts .... scary total cost.

Looking for suggestions and trusted sources for quality used parts. Bike was not insured and she would like to get it into ridable shape for least cost.

Need: Headlight assembly, Tach and Speedo assembly, Fork mounted turn signalsand a few odds and ends I will probably order new.

Any ideas?

My local indy shop has great deals on take off parts, talk to yours about it. Ebay is another great source but it requires more time and patience.

Well I don't know where the stuff goes but my local HD guy told me that all the take off parts they end up with they contract with a seller and split the profits. I'd check with a local bike shop.

do a web search for "Elvis' place" they have a website and a lot of used Harley parts.
They also buy used stuff. Have heard good things about them.

Motorcycle salvage yard. Front ends are the first to go, but you may come up with the parts.

Been shopping Flea-Bay with little success. Lot's of stuff out there but just not what I need.

Will make the rounds of the 3-4 local Indy shops this weekend .... good suggestion.

Would wait for the swap tables at Bike week but the lady wants to ride before March.

The Elvis site looks great... thanks Rico!

Anyone know of a MC salvage yard here on FL West Coast?
