I know some of you don't like the look or feel it is uncomfortable, butI was in my truck today on the interstate and a semi way in front of me threw up a rock that cracked my windshield and scared the hell out of me. If this thing was to hit me while riding with a half helmet in the face there's no question I would have went down. Not to metion the better protection from other elements such as wind and rain... and of course the safety benefits, it's not worth it for me not to wear a full face, just got me thinking.
I don't even leave home without a full face...my wife takes extra time in the morning to put her face on, not really sure what that's about...I usually wake up with a full face. I have been known to get shitfaced...but I'm pretty sure I'm still full faced even then. Go figure.

Yeah and last Sunday's newspaperhad a story about a lady who was driving her car and a 2x4 came off the truck in front of her, through the windshield, and across her face. She's blind for life.
Just don't start pushing for the rest of us to wear full face, or anything. Please.
I had windshields in both my truck and car get a big crack in them last weekend from stones being kicked up. One was on Saturday and the other the next day on Sunday. Wierd! But it didn't make me think about wearing my FF all the time. Too uncomfortable.
I wear a novelty helmet, but I have a windshield. When rocks fly up they hit my windshield. If I didn't have a windshield, they would have hit me in the face cause I don't have a full face helmet. You guys that don't have windshields are not living in the real world and are ruining it for everyone else. It's only a matter of time before windshield laws will be passed, and then you will be forced to get a windshield. I'm not trying to preach here, but bros, the day is coming. Yes, I rode for 25 years without a helmet or a windshield, and I got hit with rocks, bugs, stung by bees and wasps, it's a wonder I survived. But I have seen the light and now have a windshield. If you don't have one, well you're just ignorent. I just feel it's my duty to tell you this even though you may not want to hear it. Trust me, it's for your own good.
