I prefer wearing a Dodge 1500 Ram pickup. It offers better protection from rocks hitting me in the face, noise reduction and keeps me warm on cold riding days.

These posts always get people worked up, the "less gear" folks all act like the "more gear" folks are trying to force em to gear up or something, you can't share an experience or thought without getting attacked for it. If you find yourself laying in the hospital bed wondering where your skin went and how the extra knots got on your head let me know if the first thought that flashes into what's left of your melon is, "man I'm glad I wasn't wearing more protective gear." Good luck out there tough guys, I'll just keep gearing up for the crash until they start paving the roads with NERF.
