Do not preach to me about wearing a full helmet. Let those that ride decide. I am tired of people pushing Full-Faces. 25+ years riding. 3 years full faced. You won't catch me wearing one dead now. Full faced helmets cause more problems then they are worth and have proven to be very dangerous as well.

The day I would wear a full face is the day I sell my Harley. The whole point of riding a motorcycle, to me, is to feel the wind, the elements. I've been dinged by the occasional rock, bug, debris. It happens. No thanks, I'd rather not look like I'm a NASA testrider. A full faced helmet completely removes the motorcycle experience for me. They're uncomfortable, hot, sweaty, restrictive, and a pain in the **** to drag around everywear. I tried them a couple times, geez, think I'll just take the car.
No helmet for me, thanks. I'd rather enjoy the ride.
You do realize that a study with a group of 50 subjects is way on the small side, right? Not disputing his physics, but the given the number of fatal motorocycle crashes with helmeted riders that have occurred,I really wonder what the percentage of that kind of fatal injury is.
He's also in favor of helmet re-design, not helmet non usage.
Besides, it is people that make these comments that enforce the government's desire to make helmets manditory. Read my Washington State Full Helmet thread. Our state government is thinking about proposal of Full-Helmet requirments.
It is fine that you desire to wear full-helmets, but don't tell me it is safer. Way too many other studies out there actually contradict that.
