I am thinking of puttung the screamn' eagle 113" motor i my 2008 fatboy, just wondering if anybody else has put this motor in and how you like it and what the hp and torque numbers are if anybody knows please let me know and thanks in advance.
i had hd put a 113 in my fltr. i was not that impressed with the performance for what i paid, and eventuallyremoved the cnc htcc heads and pistons (and screamin eagle cams) and had head-quarters port a set of stock hd heads and then replaced the pistons with a piston they designed to match their heads and cams for the way i wanted to ride. the difference was night and day in the performance increase. take your money and get a good independent shop to put in a complete 113 package from head-quarters or an equivalent combination that your shop is very experienced with - it will cost less than hd and be a superior engine build. occassionally the dealer can bolt together a package that just matches up well, but that usually does not happen - the compression will be too low, squish not even considered, wrong cams for the way you ride, etc. - somewhere there will be a weak link in the chain.
if you want the warranty, stay with the dealer. but you couldget dusted by a really good 95" engine build from a good independent engine builder.
check into head-quarters, hillside cycle, gmr performance, king of cubes, ...

2nd that, I had a 103 Indy build that would smoke a HD 110 build and wasn't as expensive.
