I'm getting spoiled, the county finally gravelled our dirt road to my place, not much of an improvement, but maybe they'll pave it by 2050. Not holding my breath!
Are you kidding? I live in Iowa..can't get anywhere without hitting dirt at some point. Only thing I hate is down here in the SW they use that crushed white rock..makes bikes and cars dirty as hell!
I don't have any problem riding on dirt, rather not though. Started out riding dirt bikes when I was less than three. But wait till you get a pebble between your belt and your pully, then we'll see who likes riding on dirt.

My backyard is 'crusher-run' gravel & I have to make a wide, 180 swing both in & out. I rode some dirt as a kid & am not afraid to run it on a big bike. I like it less with a passenger.

Most of my riding is on the pavement these days. I have ridden dirtbikes quite a bit and my streetbike on dirt roads. I have not been on a dirt road with my Road King.
Dirt on a dirt bike is no problem. I love it.
On my HD, call me what you want but I avoid it. Dont like it, and dont want to clean up later.
Most roads here are pavement and I like it that way.
