I got pulled over today the officer was coming towards me in the opisite lane and tag me with a laser doing 70 in a 40 I dont think i was doing that fast but wasnt looking is it possible that I was doing 35 and he was doing 35 that when he tagged me I was traveling at 70mph towards him on the BIKE.

on property but not the post outside of the gate in a 40 zone that was 100 meters from the 50 zone I pulled over right infront of the fifty. I took a law informent class in highschool 10 yrs ago I know that you can be folowed, tagged from still car or even paced by the car infront of you but never heard of being tagged by a car comming at ya.

I'm a cop in NJ and yes, radar can work when a vehicle is coming at you or away from you even while driving. Since you were stopped for 70, and only issued a summons for 50, you got a big break. If you were to fight the summons and go to court, the officer most likely would not drop it down any further and tell you to either pay it or go to trial. In all my years in LE, i've yet to see a cop lose a radar case.
Yeah it's called moving RADAR or LASER, works a little different than if it were stationary. But the result is the same. If the speed device is properly maintained, it is very seldom wrong in your speed, and usually not more than 1 -2 MPH.
