I have started. A friend of mine walked me through installing my own Rush slipons, head bolt covers, and voltage regulator cover. I installed a new French headlamp ring and then decided to put the stock heat shields back onto the bike over the slipons, without any help. Plan to do the next oil change myself too. Also, I always clean my own bike. It's fun and I enjoy it.

That's basically what I'm doing. I look over Sean's shoulder and he shows me how to do things. Then every now and then he'll say "You could pop that sissy bar off for me" Or "come here and see how I'm changing the oil". I even put my own highway pegs on once. He seems to think it's important for me to know about the bike....isn't that what I have him for? (J/K of course! )
