RE: Harley Shop Closing: Elyria Location to Become Offices
Sadly, I am thinking we haven't seen the last of this... as the economy tanks and the monthly payments on some of those new mega-dealership boutiques comes due.

Very expensive deal to operate a dealership, banks had plenty of $$$ to loan to the jerks to loan $$$ to those who could not pay for the big homes they wanted, now $$$ are tight and those dealers that are "weak" are going to go under,

It's just the way business operates. Dealers come and dealers go. Cyclical nature of the economy. Perhaps once people begin to live within their means, the number of dealers will be supported by "real world" numbers. Until then, the whole thing is just a balloon ready to pop. When it does, things will level out, and the remaining loans/dealers will be solvent. I've been in business for 18 years and this is nothing new.

I am sorry to here about this store closing , it was nice because he owned both stores (elyria) and( lake erie) and if you bought your bike from them you could take it to either place for work or whatever...really sucks...
