I drover through cali once, never again. endless houses as far as the eye can see and that was just from the north to the bay.
Dude, you took the WRONG freeway!
There is so much open space north of Sacramento it ain't even funny.
Our forrest are huge, trees even huger...hell you can drive your Harley thru some of our trees!
We got so many 1000's of acres of National Parks it ain't even funny!
And the central valley is 100's upon 100's of open fields producing food for 50% the country!
Seriously, if you wanta REALLY know what California is like than you need to spend some time with me. I'll show you the REAL California and you WILL love it.
kolni, isn't Silicone Valley where those "Big Breasted Blonde Bimbo" valley girls come from? Nice place!!
If they would divide Ca. into North Calif. and South Calif, sort of like the Carolinas or Dakotas, then I'd move to N. Calif, and import my food from S. Calif. Best of both worlds. But it is "way" crowded for this ol' fart. On top of that, I don't speak the language.

Well, I would like to see the state split also. And NorCal hold the upper hand actually cause we have all the water. As for as "speaking the langauge" goes, that may be a shock for some people. Sacramento has always been a very diverse city due to it's military background and other things. I hear on average about 5-7 different langauges every day I go out; English, Russian, Spanish, Veitmanease, Chianease, Ukraniane, and ebonics.
Not only do you get used to it, but you will come to like it. Because it exposes you to the world and teaches you that people are all alike.

Momma lived outside of Frisco, Castro Valley, when she was in highschool. She still has 2 sisters out there, one Castro Va. and the other downtown Frisco. South Mpls is a lot of what you said. Multiple langs. Yea, guess pretty much all strive for the same things. Decent living, place and wage, and some decent riding weather. Sorry, forgot the after the valley girl comment. Familiar with silicone va. Just jawin'
