Default Customer appreciation party.

I bought my last two bikes at Iron Valley HD in Manheim, Pa. They have a invitation only customer appreciation party in February for folks that bought bikes within the last year. Besides really good food with beer, wine, soda, and a band............you get a 25% off coupon to use one time, during the week leading up to, and during, the party for your entire purchase. (bikes excluded of course) Both times I had one of these, I bought my next set of tires and put them away till I need them. Bought a few other goodies and me and the OL had a heck of a good time too. Funny, I spent more with her along. That usually doesn't happen. Musta been the wine! Just thought I'd relate this story to go with all the "stealer" threads. They didn't have a "Rocker" though. It went out as soon as it came in. That's OK. I saw one at the York Open House and thought the welds on the swingarm, under the seat, sucked too.

And yes, I know about the good dealer/bad dealer threads in the top section of the page...........I posted about my dealer in there long ago......This is just a story about a nice event.

We have a dealer here who is the same way. The manager has even gone beyond that...they're doing a complete dealer expansion to about 3 times the size...but it is still the smallest dealer in town...but the best IMHO. What they've done is hire out almost all their expansion work to previous and current customers that are in construction as a payback and thanks for being customers. I thought that was pretty cool...
