Wish me luck
I found my bike after searching high and low.
Not as new of a ride I was wanting, but it is what it is and the price is right.
I'm leaving in the morning to go pick it up...

Thanks.... It has taken me 6 months before I found one that had that "WOW" factor.
I have to go 900 miles (1 way)to get it, but even with the expense to get the bike and needing to replacethe rear tire, the bike will still be well within the price range for its age and my budget
Besides, I couldn't lets my buddy "Greydawg" get one up on me with the beauty he just bought last week... LOL
I wonder if this is going to fall under the catagory of "keeping Up With the Jones" [sm=innoc.gif]
On the other hand, I had made a post back in Dec about having the "Calling". Now I can begin preparing for my cross countryadventure [sm=biker2.gif]
Serious question folks...
When I go look pickup this bike, what should I particularly look at ?
What is acceptible wear and what is considered neglect ?
How long can I expect a rear tire to last on a Ultra
