Mine stopped making requests for me to pick up movies or things from the store when the bikes involved. It's only 5 mins. away...yet it takes me 3 hours for the round trip somehow???[sm=escape.gif]

Seems there is another thread by someone wondering if having a bagger but not touring was in some way wrong. I guess you answered that question. Having bags, even on a Heritage, makes it awfully nice to run to the store. Two bikes ago I had hard bags and trunk, and to be honest I kind of miss the trunk. May be time to get a Tourpak.

YES! That tourpack and those big hardbags are WONDERFUL to say the least. My bike is a daily commuter. I shop with it all the time and have it down so that I can "guestimate" how much I can fit in my bike. I've gotten good at it and am rarely if ever "overstuffed" with things.
If it won't fit on the bike then Mama has to go get it with the car...

Even the RK can pack it in for groceries. As you have found, Rose, my wife has also realized the packing potential of the bagger! At least in the summer we get to be in the AC somewhere when she does ride/shop.
