I once put three (3) Marie Calendar pies in the TP and had to stuff things around them so they wouldn't move around The thing is just too big!

Yeah, I agree with the others I think you have found the right bike for you. Hope your ol man gets better, too. He is kinda having a bad time of it.

Default RE: Grocery shopping....

In an effort to surprise my wife last Mother's Day, I played dumb all week, leading up to the big day. (Which seems to me was a Saturday last year...) We got up in the morning, had breakfast together, and then I started pulling my riding gear on. She asked where I was going, and I told her it was such a nice day I was going to go for a ride. In a somewhat hurt tone (but without even mentioning Mother's Day) she asked for how long. I told her I'd probably be out two or three hours, at least. She just said, OK, and left it at that. I pull the bike out of the garage, rode up the street to the local florist and bought her a huge bouquet of roses. I stuck it down in the saddlebag, but couldn't shut the lid. It is a VERY short ride up the street from our place, so I figured I'd be OK. No such luck!! Partway back to the house the flowers flew out!! Due to a back injury a few years back, Icannot run so well anymore. I quickly pulled the bike to the curb, and tried to trot back to pick up the flowers off the road. There was a car coming right at them, and I figured that was $40 down the drain. The guy must have realized was it was all wrapped up in that bundle of paper, as he hit the binders. I scooped them up, gave the guy a bigwave of thanks, and got a thumbs up in return. I was gone longer than I'd planned because of this, but the look on her face when I gave her flowers was well worth it. It did momentarily make me wish I hadn't sold my Gold Wing though! I said momentarily...
