Default Grocery shopping....

One of our bags didn't make it in the cart the other night at the Grocery store. So I had to go back so the store to pickup the fairly small amount of stuff. So being that it is a nice day, and since I had a few more errands, I figured I would take the bike....no biggy.Hubby (who is very sick right now) asked for 2 liter bottle of 7up and a large thing juice, "If you have the room", while I was there.

So I was picking up this stuff and passed something we needed (ok brownies..you always need a couple boxes of brownies!) so I picked it up, then thought I really wanted a 12 pack of drinks, so I put that in the cart too. I was looking at the stuff and getting a little nervous that it wouldn't fit.

Turned out I had wayyyyyyyy more room in just my tour pak....didn't use the side bags...and had to actaully take a couple of things out of the bags to wedge in so stuff wouldn't roll.[&:]

Called Hubby and told him this really is the perfect bike and did he want a 12 pack of beer cause it would fit too Unfortunately we don't drink beer much so he declined the offer.

Compare to my to all the bags I put on my Deluxe this thing is an RV full of room!

I'm beginning tothink you really love your new bike "Bluerose" and that you're glad you made the switch.

Rose, is your husband still dealing with that intestinal "thing"? I remember your post regarding the "sting".

Rose,

The best part is when you go riding with buddies and "rent" them space to store their stuff while you dine, shop, tour, etc...
But don't let them become dependent on you, or itmay never end.

Did the same thing but didn’t tell the wife, well with fuel costs, maybe I could talk her into a new trailer.

We are warming up to each other....it has been slow though. Just hitting my 1000 mile because I just haven't had a lot of time with her between weather and illnesses.

Poor Hubby....he has had a bee sting food poisoning, and now some kind of infection....swollen glands so bad he has double chins....really painful He's on soft food and rest. Not sure what kicked off what.
