Got a new DOT- German style one today, and I look like a mushroom head. The wife and 3 year old say they won't allow me to wear it. Now that's bad.
LMAO, yep that's funny. When your 3 yr old laughs......you know it's bad. As mentioned above, try one of the Fulmer Hombre helmets, it's the lighted and smallestI have found so far (it's no skidlid/novelty helmet, but it's a lot smaller than most). I have a couple novelty helmets that I like to wear, but the DOT Hombre is just as comfortable.
Try www.jafrum.com. Claim to have smallest, lightest DOT. They have one at 28 oz. 8.5"ear to ear and 10.5 front to back. Don't know if this is the smallest or not but there only about $30.00 with free shipping. They also have a cool looking vintage half helmet that is DOT.
Was going to gowith Vega XTS but didn't like the look of the visor, so went with the HCI 1/2 in leather. Nicer visor and still looks pretty small for a DOT. Didn't like the look, fit, or price of the ACC.
