HARDTAIL?
IHAVE (ALMOST THREE YEARS) A HARLEY2006 NIGHTTRAIN//STOCK200 MM TIRE. IT IS TIME TO MAKE A CHANGE. I AM CURIOUS IF ANY OUT THERE HAVE INSTALLED AFTERMARKET REAR FENDERS//full front fenders?
I HAVE LOWERED THE REARWITH LONGER SHOCK BOLTS....(NOT LOW ENOUGH).
I AM INQUIRING ANY WHO HAVE CONVERTED TO A HARDTAIL TO DROP THE FENDER RIGHT ON TOP OF THE TIRE. THANKS FOR ANY IDEAS//HELP[&:]

...check out the N.T./Custom/Standard picture threads (Softail forum) for bikes w/ aftermarket fenders...PM any questions you might have to the respective owners...I installed Progressive 422 shocks on my '06 Standard (same bike...silver cases) and I can adjust them low enough that my back tire rubs on the underside of the fender...which is TOO low...Iadjusted the shocksfor 2" of drop and all is good...Isuppose if you REALLY wanted it lower than that you COULD replace the shocks with solid struts effectively making your bike into a "hardtail" (bad idea IMO)
