1985 FLHT battery box?
I have a 1985 FLHT (Taking off the saddlebags for now) and the battery box is part of the saddlebag mount, Any suggestions? I need a cover for my battery also. Chrome would be nice. Shops I have been to don't carry a cover for my battery they suggestted changing to a different battery and then I could find a chrome cover for it. May have to make these items. Any feedback appreciated.....

I talked to a guy who did it. He said something about getting a police battery box that fits underneath the seat. I don't know if it HAS to be from a police model but you would need a different size battery.

That's what the shop told me. Get different battery and then I could get chrome cover for it. Would have to probably make a different battery box and mount it, for it also.
