I use a product called "Cycle Brite", seems to work just as well as S100 but without the leftover film. Spray it on, hose it off with good water pressure and then hit it with the leaf blower. Never tried Simple Green, I'll give it a shot this weekend.

Use it on a "cold" bike. The cooking effect can be long lasting and a bitch to get off.

I use S100. Works great, provided you rinse it thoroughly.

I've been using S100 for years. Cut it 4:1 and it still works just as great but you won't have to buy it as much.

Be careful using s100 on a hot day in direct sun. My ultra now has streaks on lower front forks from my mistake. Also if you use a natural wax it will remove it so you'll need to rewax after s100.

I've been using S100 for years, also a similar product called Bike Brite...both work great...I like to keep my bike clean but I'm not a slave to cleaning it...one of these cleaners, the leaf blower and a wipe down, and I'm done in 15/20 minutes...

I agree with Phil, simple green mixed 50/50 with water does just as good, if not a better job of cleaning your bike. You can get a couple of half gallon jugs at Costco for 20 bucks and wash your bike regularly for a couple of seasons. I couldn't justify paying the price for S100 when other products, like simple green, can do they same job at a fraction of the cost. Put your 50/50 mix in a spray bottle, spray the bike down, rinse with a solid stream, and blow dry. I've been doing this since my bike was new and continue to get comments on how great it looks.

Harley sells a spray on detailer.......comes in a black aerosal can for $5.95. Spray it on, wipe it off with a clean, dry, micofiber cloth. The shine is spectacular, takes 15 minutes to do my Electra Glide, and no water needed. A little "Goof-Off" on the white walls and I'm good to go. I always get compliments on the deep, lustrous, shine.
