ive been considering other bars. i got the black 12s from HD cus they were only 59bucks and drilled em out... not really apes but i want 16 inch gimps real bad. jus cant afford em and the wiring right now.. ive seen a few dynas with drag bars and tall risers , i like the look and i bet it handles great but iono i think i should go with my first choice.

RE: If you switched to apes and then...
Had 18" on my Springer. After the heart attack, my hands would go numb after a while so I replaced them with 12". Put my hands just below my shoulders, no more circulation problems. Since then sold the Springer and got an '03Wide Glide, don't know how high their 'mini apes' are, but comfortable. Now I have an '08 E-Glide with with stock bars. Going to ridewith them a while and see if I can get used to them.
