Next to last pic. Sold this Fatboy (same fatboy as in pics above) in 2000. It seems people had more money than brains then. It had just over 5000 miles on it. I bought it in 98 with 275 miles on the odometer, guy bought it and had it stored in his acft hgr for a coupla years and never rode it. Had it apart for about a year before I actually started riding the darn thing.

Was at a rally in Tunica MS and this guy walks up to me and ask what it would take to buy it. I told him it wasn't for sale and of course his answer to that was "everything is for sale" so I just pulled a number out of my rear. He asks for my number and that he would give me a call and let me know. I gave him my number and enjoyed the weekend. I just thought he was full of crap and never gave it another thought.

The next Tuesday I get this call from this guy asking how I wanted the money Cashiers check or personal check. Blew my mind, trust me I had a ton of money in this bike but I never imagined that I would get it back plus some. Guy comes and picks it up that following Thursday. I ask him why he wanted it so bad. He just said that it was everything he wanted in a Fatboy and it was worth it to him. I even tried to talk him out of it because I really didn't want to sell it. But the offer was just to good to pass up. I was sick for about a week.
