Do they make sunglasses that get darker when outside and clear at night? Im looking for somethingthat dosent needRX lens. I ride to work when its dark and its a pain to carry 2 pair of sunglasses.

Yes, they are called "Transition" lenses, but I got mine from my eye doctor.

yeah they make them, however when I tried them, they don't get dark enough for my liking. so I carry two pairs, which can be a pain

Transition lenses is indeed the term. Check your local dealer for Panoptix and other non-prescription brands.

This is changed. I use Transitions prescription lenses, and earlier versions would show a slight tint indoors.Also, the photochromic chemical would last about 3years.My new ones go from completely clear to plenty dark pretty quick. Indoors they go back to clear in maybe 8-10 minutes. I don't know if their newerphotochromic material wears out.

They're good. But get ready to shell out some bucks.

Yeah, my last ones were over $200.

Glad to hear they improved.

HD also makes them, check out the site also a good pair of interchangeable, I have a pair of Smiths.
