Me and a couple of buddies went for a ride last week and we walked into a small out of the way bar for a cold beer. They told us we couldn't stay because they didn't allow "Colors".
I have an old brown leather vest with the typical patches from different events that have special meaning to me. The back of the vest just has a typical patch with the top and bottom rockers that say "Live to Ride", "Ride to Live".
We didn't make a big deal out of it and yes I could have taken the vest off and put it in the saddlebag but we just left and went some place else.
I am not a member of any club so I don't consider my vest as "Colors". Is that discrimination or ignorrance?
To me that is not colors that is just a patch on a jacket but to uneducated folks all they see is a center patch with a top and bottom rocker thus colors.
Colors in most bars are just that a true MC center patch and rockers and that can be any MC weather it is HOG, Christian bikers or Hells angles they are all colors..........
