And what about the unfair and unequitable tariffs and import taxes US made products are subjected to in China as compared to their junk that is imported into the US? \\;\\\\\\; Guess it doesn't matter to any of you, just so you get yours. \\;
Hmm, kind of like what the US did to imported bikes back in the day to get Harley back on their feet.
 \\;
And to think, this whole discussion was started by a guy that still only has one total post
 \\;
The details of this partnership have been a closely guarded secret, but Harley has admitted that they will share technology with the Chinese firm.
 \\;
Wonder how long it will be before we start seeing "Made (and assembled) in China Harley's"......
 \\;
Part of a news release from a couple years ago\\;
 \\;
"Harley's primary objective is to export its American-made motorcycles to China, chief executive officer Jeffrey Bleustein said in a written statement while visiting Zongshen's headquarters in Chongquing.
 \\;
"We do not believe it will be necessary for Harley-Davidson to manufacture its motorcycles in China in order to be able to sell them there," he said.
 \\;
In return for on-the-ground marketing guidance in China, Harley would share certain technology and knowledge with Zongshen.
 \\;
China produced almost 15 million motorcycles in 2003, including 3 million units exported to other countries. The country has led the world in production and sales of motorcycles for at least nine years.
 \\;
Zongshen is one of the world's largest motorcycle makers, with 18,000 employees and yearly production of more than 1 million bikes, according to Forbes Business Directory.
 \\;
"We believe there is a lot we can learn from working with a company that has intimate market and industry knowledge in China," Bleustein said."
 \\;
 \\;The future doesn't hold much imho.
 \\;
I seem to recall my Grandma tellin me she heard that from HER Grandpa...who probably heard HIS etc, etc...
 \\;
We'll be all right...
