Crusher, STOP, you're 'crushin' me, buddy. Don't throw out a perfectly good shovelhead. 
Hear ya, big time. Guess Momma and I have resigned our lives to be tied to the trailer embellical cord. In fact, (don't like to admit it), B4 we head out on a 'big' run, I hook the trailer to the truck, and get it ready, JUST IN CASE I have to callthe Kid or neighbor,and retrieve us. (Not ALL bad, I am getting too old to spend HOURS on a hardtail, and Momma has never been able to go over 250 in a day) Altho, I can say, that until last summer, my "old iron" had not left me stranded on the road in over 15 yrs. Last year, was taxing, DON'T ask.All that aside, Loren, a GREAT riding buddy, has the 2000 Indian Chief, Milleniuim. Nothing but headaches, and Indian wouldn't stand behind it. NOW, I do know 3 other guys with the later years, Scouts and Chiefs, they have good success and like them.
OF what you listed, I like the Springer the best, but did own an 01 Ultra. Good luck in your search, and hope it works out that Momma can N JOY the wind with you. BUT keep the shovel, or you'll be lookin' for another B4 the season is over, JMFUO, Crusher.

well I still have my 26 Indian to work on
and my 70's Honda Chopper (which is being restored)
but I will still need a newer bike so the Indians and the glides are top running and who knows if I make the trade thing Shovel for the (rat rod)truck I might even sell my Harley truck
as it is I am out of parking spaces here and am having to rent a spot to park my Motorhome

Keep the Shov,if like me to many memories to let it go,and if your going to be doing alot of highway stay away from the Springer....Sure the springer is nice but untill they have a proven neck brg fix you might not be happy.....Reseat neck brg at 5 thou,if ridin hard replace at 10 thou if lucky.....seems they dont last well with stedy pounding....This comming from my local HD shop.....
I too would like a Spinger to ride to work and back but my HD guy knows how and were I ride and wont suggest one to me because of the Neck Brgings.....But its my call if I want to add one to my smallcollection....
