Default Cost of 100mi. service

I am taking my bike in for it's first service next week. The service writer told me the cost was $100 for labor plus parts. This sounds pretty reasonable to me. How much was yours? Just want to see what other Dealerships are charging. Thanks

Did you mean 1000 mile service? If so I would make sure that they are doing everything in the manual because that seems very low to me for a) the time involved in a 1k and b) what every other dealer I have seen is charging. If they do a complete 1k for 100 bucks plus oil/filter/gaskets/orings, you are getting a great deal.

If you actually meant 100 mile service then you are getting hosed. Especially if they can convince you you need to come back at 200 miles for the next service.

Do you mean 1000 mile service? The price depends on the model. I am assuming you have a Street Glide. The price seem real good.

That is a very good price. My dealer charges $250-300. They said it takes 2.5 hours..?

Wow, 100 mile service I think I missed that one. Of course I wouldn't have even made it home before I had to go back and get the 100 mile service done.

Yeah, it's the 1000mi service. I am going to buy the Amsoil and bring it in with me. I figure I will get by under $200 pretty easy.

I was thinking, "100 mile service"???? Holy Crap! I'd have to take it back in for service the day after I buy it.

One dealer around here gets $195 and that includes the oil. Add $10 for synthetic. Another dealer gets $255. Didn't check the other two dealers (they really don't have any good wrenches).
