What a handsome little guy! My neice was born extremely early back in the 80s and had to have some sort of procedure involving the lining from cow's lungs, as her lungs were under developed. I'm happy to say that she is a Beautiful Young lady now, with no health issues whatsoever.
I know its hard to leave them in the hospital (I had to with my oldest when she was just little) but keep your chins up. Medicine has come a LONG way in the 15+ years since they did so much for my neice, he's gonna be a strapping young man before you know it. Enjoy... they grow up soooo fast!

Thoughts and prayers for you, your family and your new son. Also congratulations. My sister is a NICU nurse and the stories she tells me are amazing! May the time go by quickly until you are all home together

update: He's doing better, taking to food great. a little Jaundace so hes under the phototherapy light....more pics.....

First I would like to say you and your family are in our prayers. 2nd I would like to say Congrats to you and you Wife. I am not a real weepy SOB but it tugs on the old heart strings when I read or hear about a little one having to strugle.Being a father of 2 girlsI can say it is a awsome feelingto know you and your wife made somethingso pure as a little child.I am pulling for the little guy. Sounds like he is a trooper hang in there and keep positive thought. Keep us posted. Like was said before Little ones are the closest thing to a angle here on Earth.[sm=grinangel.gif]

Our prayers are with you and your family for the speedy recovery and the first night home....it shouldnt take long before all the late night crying....you will be ready for it
